“[...]I’ve realized why I actually developped these two talents and that is the origin of My Quest.”

That’s what I said in my previous post.  By “these two talents”, I was referring to rapping and beatmaking.

I think my two biggest inspirations are Eminem and Dr. Dre.  They are probably the reason why I decided to really try to rap and make beats.  In my opinion, when it comes to rapping and delivering rhymes, Eminem is second to none (ok, MAYBE to 2pac).  And as for as beats are concerned, there’s not much to say about Dr. Dre, other than the fact that : it’s fuckin Dr. Dre!

I feel that a big part of what I’ve acquired as far as skills is due to these two men. So,

My quest is to one day be able to work with Eminem and Dr. Dre, and the whole Shady/Aftermath.

I think that, if one day I could be a member of the Shady/Aftermath staff as a in-house producer or helping artists develop, that would be my way of giving back.  So this blog, will be following me on my quest and help me showcase my talent.

Now I know that with that said , I’ll be labeled as a “Stan” or whatever, but I couldn’t care less!

I’ve never seen my self as a rapper, so I always focused on beatmaking.  But lately I feel like rapping more often again.  I think I have some kind of a talent at both.  Recently, I’ve realized why I actually developped these two talents and that is the origin of My Quest.

I’ll explain what is My Quest on my next post.  For now, here’s a raw mix of a short freestyle I did, I think it’s a good sample of what I’m about.  Leave comments please!
